The growth of WiFi access may soon spread to supermarkets with the announcement by the Stop & Shop chain that it will be deploying free WiFi
access throughout their chain of stores in the Northeast. The company has contracted with ICOA Inc. to manage the store networks. So as you navigate your way through the
fruit and vegetable section, you'll be able to surf the web. Look for other supermarket chains to join in the fray very
soon.
